A $350 grant helped art teacher Whitney Lantrip buy this pair of glasses for two of her students who are color blind. “That one pair of glasses changed the lives of two students,” Lantrip said. “They are now able to wear the glasses to see true colors as they have never before been able to see.”

Center Hill High School has been rated an “A” school multiple times by the Mississippi Department of Education. In accountability ratings approved Sept. 19 by the state board of education, CHHS is the fifth best public high school in Mississippi and the second highest ranked high school in DeSoto County behind Hernando.
