DeSoto County Schools to extend online learning.

Beginning Sept. 25, all DeSoto County Schools students will be dismissed from school on Fridays two hours and 15 minutes early. The new 70% Fridays were implemented to give teachers more planning time due to the challenges of virtual learning.

Center Hill High School has been rated an “A” school multiple times by the Mississippi Department of Education. In accountability ratings approved Sept. 19 by the state board of education, CHHS is the fifth best public high school in Mississippi and the second highest ranked high school in DeSoto County behind Hernando.
