Lily Dawson, class of 2023, is a staff reporter for The Pony Express. She joined staff at the end of her freshman year. She is also a member of MustangTV and the school’s chapter of the National Honor Society. She enjoys drawing and photography in her time. Motivated by her teacher, Center Hill’s own Robin Nobles, Lily aspires to attend college & to continue her career in broadcasting journalism as a news anchor or video editor.

When Lily Dawson's father was isolated in the spring with COVID-19, she visited him through the so-called "drive-thru" window of her parents' bedroom. Lily, her sister, and their mother all eventually contracted COVID-19. The family's symptoms were mild, and months later Lily said her sense of smell is still messed up.
