Before the Center Hill football team kicked off their game against Lake Cormorant on November 1st, there was time for the fall senior athletes to be recognized. These were seniors in band, cheer, dance, football, and golf. All of the seniors stood out on the football field with family and friends as their names were called out one by one.
Afterwards, the game started quickly with Lake Cormorant scoring 8 points against the Mustangs with an 8-0 score at the end of the 1st quarter. Center Hill fought hard though, coming out of the second quarter with 14 points, tying the game just in time for halftime.
Although the Mustangs were able to tie the game, Lake Cormorant came on top for the third and fourth quarters. The final score after the game was 36-14, it was a devastating loss for the Center Hill Mustangs, but that didn’t stop the football team from trying.
Come and support your Mustangs as they take on Saltillo this Friday, November 7th for the last regular season game.
