Senior at CHHS, Caleb Jeans has been a staff member of The Pony Express since the 2020-2021 school year. He is involved in National Honors Society, Mu Alpha Theta, and Choir, but he also enjoys reading, writing, traveling, photography, and gardening. After high school, he plans on attending college out of state as a pre-law student, double-majoring in political science and psychology and minoring in sociology. Someone that inspires Jeans in the journalism field is Ida B. Wells, because she was motivated to publish the truth and heart of the evil that was occurring around her, despite the hate and punishment she would have received.
