Select Women and Ensembles compete in District Festival.

​On Friday, February 26, all of CHHS auditioned ensembles participated in the District Festival. Each group performed two songs for three judges and was given a score based on 100.

Sextet:  96, 96, 95; Quartet: 92, 95, 98; Concert: 92, 94, 95; Select Women: 98, 98, 98.

All groups received superior scores that qualify them for the State Festival in Pearl, MS.

​Select Women competed in the District Choral Festival at Maples Memorial United Methodist Church on February 26th. They performed two songs: “Poor Wayfaring Stranger” and “From Dusk to Dawn.”

These ladies have been working extremely hard, and it was all worth it because their scores were incredibly near perfect.

Select Women received all ninety-eight’s from three different judges. They now advance to State Festival!
