Burrow, Jiminez earn Farm Bureau recognition
Two Center Hill seniors were recognized by Farm Bureau Insurance Sept. 6. Matt Burrow, a running back on the football team, was named the Farm Bureau Athlete of the Month for August. Jovani Jiminez was named the Farm Bureau Student of the Month for August.
“We’re just wanting to give something to the schools and be invested with the schools,” Allen Palmer of Farm Bureau said. “This is a way for us to help recognize students.”
Palmer said Center Hill staff selects each month’s winners. Burrow was chosen, he said, for averaging 130 yards per game for the Mustangs, and Jiminez was chosen because he is a “hardworking kid that leads all class discussions.”
