The football season is over; however, three Center Hill football players have been nominated to The Commercial Appeal’s Best of the Preps.

Tadarius Bean, Danterius “Dan” Ellington, and Jonathan Weeks will be honored along with other Memphis/Desoto area standout football players.

Bean’s defensive skills earned him 62 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks, which spotlights his nomination.

Ellington’s season is highlighted with passing and rushing statistics.  He passed for 2,127 yards and 14 touchdowns. Additionally, he rushed for 939 yards and 15 touchdowns.

Weeks also had an impressive season with 75 receptions, 1,088 receiving yard and 7 touchdowns.
