Could blankets in the classroom soon become a thing of the past?
Assistant principal Brenda Case stated that she is strongly considering prohibiting all Center Hill students from having blankets at school, and she gave three main reasons for her decision.
First, the blankets can become dangerous in the hallway when they drag along the floor. If students aren’t paying attention to where they walk, they can trip and fall causing injuries and hallway traffic jams.
Another concern of hers is that students could be using blankets to conceal items they shouldn’t be taking to class.
Case’s last concern is that bulky blankets take up too much space and make it difficult to move around or have an interactive class.
So returning students, make sure to grab an extra jacket and leave that blanket, however comfy it is, at home.
