Volleyball program rebuilds after loss of nine seniors
Center Hill’s volleyball team is, as Coach Rachel Green put it, in a “rebuilding year.”
Last year the team lost nine seniors, and this season the young team has been working “a lot on the basics,” Green said.
Seniors Jordan Sandridge and Tiffany Ogden have stepped up as leaders this year, said Green, who added that another difference from last season is the team spirit.
“We enjoy playing volleyball together and being together,” she said.
Senior Grace Haney agreed.
“We’re more of a family than we were last year,” Haney said. “We’re more together.”
Leading up to the end of the season, the Lady Mustangs have six games left to represent Center Hill and DeSoto County this season.
